Wait, you tore the first hose? The one closest to the airbox? If so, a K&N CAI will take care of the problem since it comes with a new hose for that spot. It takes some effort, but it'll come apart!

it goes Airbox,MAF sensor,hose(the one that connects to maf sensor is ripped)..would K&N be my best bet? or a fujita? basically all the same right?

I have the K&N. I don't think that there's a better intake for the price. But that's just my opinion.

take a picture of what you broke...if its the wires to the MAF are broken you need a new MAF.

Is it the tubing coming straight off of the airbox going to the MAF or is it the tubing going from the MAF to the manifold itself?

Those tubes usually don't tear that easily

The K&N comes with an ABS plastic tube to replace that hose. So as long as that's the only thing damaged then, yes, a K&N will make your SES light not come on. You might have to get the code cleared.

so its been about a week since I repaired the tube myself and my SES light is off! im pretty proud of myself that i fixed it..its the first time i ever did something to my car in repairs and it feels good!
