Bilstein pss9 springs around stock m3 struts?

I have an 04 e46 m3. The passenger side front strut is bent and needs to be replaced. Ironically, i have a set of bilstien pss9 coilovers thats missing only the rear struts. The front coilovers are fine, and the rear m3 struts would have the springs over it and i have the plates. This would only be a temporary set up until i get a brand new set. Plausible or side against it?

i'm not sure i understand this part in bold. rear springs aren't around the rear shocks. they are separate. but not sure if that's what you were saying.
(btw you have rear "shocks" not rear "struts") your rear stock shocks would work with pss9 coil-overs on the front. obviously they wouldn't be well "matched" but would work.
