Switching H&R Cupkit shocks to Koni or Bilstein?

Currently I have a H&R cupkit on my car and the struts/shocks really suck. They were nice when the car was new but after 4000 miles or so, they have lost some of their damping and that ride has become a little softer and "bouncier".

I was curious if the stock cupkit shocks could be switched out for some of the Koni Sport Strut/Shocks or Bilstein Sports. I'm assuming the cupkit springs are H&R's normal tuning line of springs and don't have anything specific to the cupkit?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Either set will do the trick. Koni is really good with their adjustments.
