My techno-violet E36 coupe, not super agressive yet, 8+9x17" ET20+22 E34 M5 throwing stars with 205/45. Getting 205/40 and 215/40 + more low soon and can't wait!

I'm beginning to dislike WRXs and EVOs with very aggressive figment and stretch tires.
I grew up watching every generation of those cars battle it out on he local rally circuits.
So seeing them done the hella poked and stretch way just looks like a total waste, knowing what those cara are capable of.

How about an M3 that's slammed with aggressive fitment, or an S4, or any other performance car? It looks good but in most cases it takes away from what the car was capable of.

It's different to me. Because I'm used to seeing EVOs and WRX looking like real rally cars driving on the road. High stance, stiff suspension, roll cage, mud flaps, load ass pipes, seeing wm slammed and with stretch tires, it's just not right to me.
Other cars don't bother me because I didn't grow up seeing them in rally car spec, and most owners baby them.

Same here snik. It's different with the AWD rally inspired cars for sure. I love the meaty look on either car, not stretch/poke.

Yeah, when theyre just hellaflush, and not poking like mad, its not so bad, as that looks similar to seeing the rally spec cars in tarmac mode, but otherwise, its meh!

I have been looking into a set of throwing stars myself, just 9" rears aren't wide enough for my personal taste, and I have flared quarter panels. Any suggestions of where I can maybe pick up a set for a reasonable price?

Thanks for the compliments.
