Well you can customize your halos one of two ways...

I did a set where I pulled them apart and pulled the LED's, like so...

But that's permanent.

So for the ambers I taped em off in the design I wanted and sprayed them with plasti-dip so if I want to switch it up later I can.

The plasti dip is holding up to the heat of the led bulbs well?

Ghost, question for ya. Within the first few coats, is the plastidip translucent enough to actually change the color of the angel eyes? I've always thought about doing this as a cheap way to color the rings.

good idea, seems like it would dim them a lot though.

I used black and being that plasti-dip is somewhat porous at times, I was getting light emitting through the tiny holes, and it didn't look good... I kept having to coat them, test them, coat them, test them... Finally got it to where there was no light shining through where I didn't want it to.

I taped off the areas where you currently see light, so there is no coating there. I plasti-dipped everything else. There is no dimming where the rings were taped off. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean..?

Although I hate everything about it, I appreciate your boldness. Nice execution.

You read wrong. I was referring to his post about using colored plasti dip to change the color of the angel eyes.
