You don't need to post high quality pictures just for my benefit. I guess I was just venting my overall frustration of how instagram has ruined photography But your car is seriously awesome.

Re: [The Aggressive Wheel Thread]

It's cool man I wasn't necessarily posting high quality pics because of you, however you are correct, in that if your going to post pics of a car or your own car for that matter, they should be of decent quality better than a phone pic, plus I've been needing to post my good photos anyway I've been shooting for 5 years so shame on me for not posting the good pics, and thanks for the compliment man

The new Nokia Lumia 1020 has a 41 mega-pixel camera. For a PHONE that seems to be better than any camera I've seen. Canon Rebel T3i is only 18 megapixel. So much for DSLR taking better pictures than a phone. Plus a lot of it has to do with the photographer, not the camera. Give a DSLR to a rookie and the pics could come out worse than a flip-phone. Most of the time the pictures are edited with photoshop or lightroom anyways, so I don't think the "camera" is the sole item to blame for crappy pics. Though, the Mamiya 645DF DOES have 80 megapixels, but I doubt anyone on here will be dropping $35k on a body, lense and back.

I agree about instagram though. It was best summed up when a photographer buddy of mine was asked what instagram was, he replied "It's an app that turns good high-quality photos into low quality sh1tty photos"

Re: [The Aggressive Wheel Thread]

Although it may be a 41mp phone, there still is very little control compared to a dslr I. E. Changing lenses iso control aperture etc anyone that has been Into photography for a min knows that the megapixel game is just hype to draw in the consumer so they can say, look I have more megapixels than anyone! So yes the Nokia may have the best camera for a phone out there, but still doesn't come close to a dslr. Also you are right about giving an untrained person a dslr and the pictures will be less than desirable, but we all had to start somewhere and personally I'd rather see a rank amateur learning to shoot the with a dslr than someone with a phone saying there a pro, just my thoughts.
