Exclamation Need A DIY on amp install.

hey everyone,
im looking for a DIY on how to install a mono amp on a 2001 325Ci. im planning on mounting to the seats it in the trunk behind the subs. ive figured out i need an LOC. where do i go from there?

Hey man, you are correct, you do need a LOC. Mounting the amp there and getting power/ground to it should be very easy, as you know the battery is right there in the trunk. Now, with that out of the way, you simply need a signal, and a remote turn-on. The remote turn-on lead is found in the factory amp harness behind the driver's side trunk trim (easily removed). The LOC will also wire up back there. Here is a pretty good guide on how to do it:

Difference being you will use a LOC on the wires, then run RCA's, unless you get a subwoofer amp like the BSW one that can take the signal directly.
