i didn't read the thread so i don't know if anyone said anything similar to this: but don't be a douchebag, don't ask a girl you just met for a discount... nordstrom makes commission and everyone knows it so ask her when she works because you needed to pick up some stuff and maybe she could help you. then offer her dinner anyways. yeah, make yourself look cheap as soon as you meet her, that's good, really increasing your value there... god... some of you guys have no game.
