Car back from Dealer, Brakes Shuddering??

Hi guys,

Finally got my car back from the dealers after having a load of work done to it, including the subframe cracking problem being fixed, new antil roll bar bushes and drop links, along with all new rear suspension bushes... One thing I mentioned was some vibration from the front brakes under hard braking.

They said seen as I had put new pads on the week before (to try and cure this myself) they hadn't changed them, but they had skimmed the disks. They said that because the pads were not new there would be some vibration until they had bedded in to the newly skimmed disks, I smelt a rat and as soon as I drove the car I noticed the huge vibration through the wheel!!

What are your thoughts on this - should this go away as the pads bed in to the disks?

Thanks peeps,

JP

What type of pad did you use? Did you install them yourself?

Bosch ones, no the garage installed them then 2 weeks later had the disks machined and fitted with the 2 week old pads.

Could it be my lower control arm bushes seen as I get a little bit of vibration at speed?
