Unfortunately, no. The DICE is only an iPod integration kit - not Handsfree.

The music will mute while a call is in progress and resume when compelted.

DICE is not compatible with e60 (fiber optic/MOST), you will use the mObridge kit on our site instead.

Hey tom, remember how you can use ipod controls on your ipod (not through car's remote) if you pressed and held the home button for a while?
that worked on my iphone 3g... but since I changed it to 3gs.. holding on the home button only brings up the voice command..

Is there anyway to use ipod controls on iphone rather than remote in your car beside changing the settings on your control box?(those switch that you flip up and down...) I don't always use it... my girl friend like to use the controls on the ipod rather than car's remote..but I prefer remote when I am alone in my car...I really don't want to flip that switch up and down every time.. Any other easy way?

That was true on the earlier kits, things have changed since a couple of years ago with new generations of iPods/iPhones and DICE units released.

Are you using the SILVERLINE or SILVERLINE PRO kit?

Not sure if the 3GS will do this on the SILVELRINE kits since we're haven't performed much testing since the PRO kits were released.

You can also set the DICE kit into SIMPLE UI mode, but it will disable text when doing so. The PRO kits have a SMART mode that allows browsing on the iPhone while connected.

DICE in e46 - DEAD!

Hi guys

can anyone shed a little bit of light on what could be happening with my e46 and my newly sourced DICE I-BMW-T/5V

I have followed the instructions to the letter, but can just not get anything out of it. The head unit doesnt show the CDC, and the ipod doesnt charge.

I have checked the 3 pin cable in the boot, and it has 12v so im presuming the cables are ok. (i dont have a changer so no way to actually prove it.)

The person i got the DICE from was using it fine, so i can only presume it is working fine..

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Steve
