Crazy Jazz

I was getting onto the express way to city from Sunnybank...and the car in front of me was turning right, so I moved into the outside lane to avoid breaking...

This Jazz was about 100m behind me on the outside lane, and somehow, I was too close to him...and so he got very p i s s e d off...

Chased me all the way from Sunnybank to city (10 minute drive), flashing his lights and horning me all the way...and swerving everywhere, left, right, front, back, you name it...

What a crazy idiot! I don't think my "move" was anywhere as dangerous as what he was doing...

Anyway, I was cruising, and thought...what if I went faster, so I did...to my pleasure, Jazz was way too slow...but I didn't want to create chaos on the highway, so dropped back to normal speed and the Jazz rushed to my back...

Very persistent he was.

Note to add:
The other reason that I didn't want to "get away" from the Jazz was that, there was a very nice looking e46 in front of me, it was the "A LIST"...

Haha, I find people in hatchbacks (guys especially)
Are really defensive on the road, esp if you cut them off/pull up on the left.
They get really reckless... not cool, stay the **** off my tail please XD

Yeah...those people are crazy...

If he'd flashed me a couple times, I'd hold up my hand nicely and nod for an apology, but doing what he did only make me laugh and want to hold up my middle finger...XD

It too the Jazz about 15 seconds to catch up to me initially once I got on the high...around 300m in front of him...

Sorry to bring down the tone of the email - everything posted may well have been posted in jest -but there is a serious side to "road rage" type incidents, and a serious side I see all too frequently.

Simon - no matter what people might suggest to you do not ever "break check" someone who might be flashing you or driving too close to you and certainly never come to a complete stop particularly on a highway or freeway.

The chance of a serious accident occurring is too high and then no matter what the person following you might have been doing your driving will be held to an objective standard in order to assess whether it was dangerous or not.

Dangerous driving causing death or GBH will almost certainly (given sentencing trends) result in incarceration.

So my advice is to not worry about the jerks who want to flash and follow closely to attempt to intimidate you. Police frequently charge first and then ask questions later. And once you find yourself within the criminal justice system it is a costly fight to extricate yourself.

Cheers guys.

Thanks for the advice Tim, and don't worry!

We're BMW drivers, not Jazz drivers! We drive safely! (I hope!)

Those jerks are more or less just an annoyance...and if you give them the attention they want, you lose the battle.

I memorised the plate of the Jazz...because I get this feeling that he'll "key" my car if he sees it parked...

Nightmares!!!!

Hahaha, nah, beating up crazy, road-raged Jazz drivers are not what my black belt is for...

Dirties my hands...

Just hope they don't annoy me again...

Silver e46 with Angel Eyes are not that popular around my area...it's easier for him to spot me, than me to spot him...
