So , does 323 software run the b30 ? I imagine you'd loose quite some hp due to different IGN/fuel curve.
I remember reading the MAF can adapt up to 30% in air flowrate change , which would explain why the b30 works with stock injectors (2,5+0,5/2,5= 20% increase) |

You are right, but I dont want to go SC... at least not yet. And probably not anytime in the foreseeable future (starting med school, then 4 years of schooling, then after graduation I plan on getting rid of this car)

You are right, that is the correct way. Personally I would just buy a E46 M3

so can it be done? where is the clarification at? how much? Why is it so hard to find a write up? if some one could prove it and show facts and kits were available. these cars would value so much more if the swaps where here!

Hi,
Any chance you could PM me some photos of the conversion? I have a 323Ci, and would be looking at performing this swap in the future. Was it a straight swap? Does the 3.0L motor bolt straight up to the 5speed manual gearbox in the 323Ci? So no electrical equiptment needed to be changed? (i.e. ecu etc.) Cheers mate. |

You'll lose a good amount of power using a TU manifold vs a B30 one.

And then i guess if you do a 3" exhaust system with no cats, like i have on mine now, you will gain some power. Also do a CAI
