yeah its like financing but you make low payments during the term. then when the term ends you pay a final baloon payment that you can either pay in full or finance again. heres how it works:
you buy a car for 30k

finance 15k for 36 months then when the 36 months are done you pay the last 15k by either financing it again or making the 1 large payment. (these numbers are just random numbers that i picked. you gotta go to the dealer to get actual payments and all that)

do not do balloon payments...you end up paying more than th car is worth 90% of the time..my cousin did balloon payments on his xterra back in the day, he had little payments and when the car was worth 7-8k, he still owed about 11-12k to nissan. easy way to lure in customers through the automotive companies

I knew their was a catch. The consumer always lose out. i was just looking to find someone out there that has experience this before. Well I guess I gotta talk to JMK this weekend while I'm there.

intrest is in the first 36 months too i think. i wouldnt do it unless i got the car for a incredible price and i knew i was gonna not put to many miles on the car. My friend did the bmw select on a cpo 08 335 w/ 1k miles on it a few months ago and now hes gonna have to sell it quick cause hes already up to 10k miles and he doesnt want to owe more than what its worth

Posting this from a Palm Pre in CT. It's sold out everywhere. But yea, it's impressive.
