Diagonal LF/RR balance problem
Hello E46 enthusiasts. I have a 2003 325i with 70K miles. The car has no mods and no sport suspension. I had the dealership install new front OEM bushings about six months ago. I noticed that the front is now higher and especially the left front feels higher also. I think because the front is higher and stiffer that the rear problems are being magnified. The right rear is now showing symptoms like: nonresponsive, dead and feeling lower. I do hear a thunk on right turns occassionaly. I am contemplating the OEM struts, strut mounts, and springs, spring pads and rear control arm bushings. However, this LF/RR diagonal problem leads me to think that it will not be resolved unless the left front height is also addressed. Any ideas about the RR dead feeling and the high feeling of the LF? What could be causing the RR to feel dead, nonresponsive and to cause so much harsh ride throughout the suspension?
