OK Guys WOW, never thought this would stir up so much conversation!

And thank you to all who support this project!

I've taken nearly 300 photos of this project already. Its late, so I will upload a few right now and the rest in the morning, before we get back to work.

Here's a few teaser shots....

Starting with a shot of the way it sat at the start
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Next make sure your disconnect your washer fluid nozzles
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Then remove the hood vent trim by pushing the clips from the underside of the hood
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Place to the side out of the way
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Next fish the washer nozzles and hosing out the side of the hood, but remember to tie some kind of string around the end so you dont get stuck trying to fish it back through. That would be a pain!
From E46 Boser Hood Install

What the hood will look like with the vent removed
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Preparing to remove the hood

Remove hood (didn't take photos of the removal of the 4 bolts (2 on each side) but you should understand that ) and set in on a level surface so that you can work on it w/o it moving. Preferably on a stand such as this
From E46 Boser Hood Install

Cardboard template and the final version already cut. We used 18gauge but if we were to do it again, I would probly want 16, just a fyi

Final shot for tonight...

And the madness begins

I'm pretty excited to see how you do this! And if it turns out bad, who cares, you would still learn a lot!

Chase is always negative.

Just like how he said all Chinese people are uncivilized, and all New Yorkers are rude and selfish. . oh, and you can't get quads without a new non-stock rear bumper
