Actually, maybe I should make a nice dessert some time. Like a hot fudge sunday or creme brulée or something. Last edited by mkodama; 11-27-2008 at 01:53 AM. |

With the Carpaccio, you are probably gonna be limited to restaurants for that. But if you get the correct meat, that's fresh, sliced super thin, etc... It's just thinly sliced raw beef, drizzle olive oil over it, sprinkle arugula on top, shave some parmesan over the top, add salt, fresh ground pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
For the salmon dinner, just get japanese style rice, cook in rice cooker. The topping is Ochazuke Wakame, which is just salty bits of seaweed and rice cracker. Cut broccoli and cauliflower into bite size pieces, steam until soft, or if you are lazy, microwave. For the Salmon heat up a cast iron griddle, I sprayed a little canola oil on, then dropped the salmon filet on it. Once cooked a little, I'd flip it over let it cook a little, then flip it again let it cook a little, then flip it one last time. This extra flipping is how I got the cross-hatch grill lines and cooked it all the way through. As for the teriyaki sauce, I gotta get the recipe from my mom. |

Damnit FlashGordon, now I'm hungry.
![]() Update: I only had some yogurt and water; not very exciting. I'm trying to lose the 5lbs I put on from thanksgiving and the 2 following days of leftovers. Last edited by mkodama; 11-30-2008 at 06:28 AM. |
