The cold smoke ages the meat without cooking it. Then you bbq. Multiple levels of flavor

A friend prepares his own bacon and sells it to some local restaurants. He gave me some to try, and it was awesome. It was very thick so it took quite a bit of time to cook, made a lot of grease, and even though it looks almost burnt and crunchy on the outside, it's cooked to where it's firm with a small amount of chewiness. So flavorful was this bacon, I cooked the rest of my meal around it.

My father in law raises pigs for slaughter and just gave us 1/2. The bacon is incredible, but I know what you mean about the grease. First time I cooked some I got a little overwhelmed.

My Ride: A car.
you just have to render out the fat as you go.
I get some overpriced organic bacon from the farmers market. Good ****, thick cut and locally sourced from the same farm. I need to ask him to just make me a slab next time to go even thicker cut.

And did some girl trick you of that too?

Your average food dye is not going to be made of Cochineal as it's 5-6 times of the price of synthetic food coloring. Not to mention all the extra labels from being an imported good made of animal products.

We made my grandma stuffed lobster for dinner 3.5lb lobster stuffed with about a lb of jumbo lump and our imperial sauce. Everyone else ate 10-12 oz stuffed lobster tails. There were also mini crab imperials. She turned 79 and is fairly skinny and ate about 70% of it.

Just got bored and threw together what I had... Came out really good though.

Egg bread French toast, One has nutella and one had crunchy peanut butter, Caramalized bananas, mozz cheese, Bacon and then a slight drizzle of maple syrup (the real stuff though)

Daeji bulgogi, rice, kimchi, ssamjang and lettuce. Obviously coupled with copious amounts of booze.
