does oem cd player play cd-rw? (more)
i tired playing cd-rw and it doesn't work. but someone told me i have to finalized my disc first ... if i finalized the disc can i still erase the file on the disc and record new songs on it again? i am talking about cd-rw disc not cd-r. thanks

Yes, with CDRW after finalizing the disc you can still erase the whole disc. But I'm not sure if all CD players can read CDRW since it uses different wavelength of optical light.

I have no problem playing Burned cds in my car. You must Finalize them though. Also make sure it is a high quality cd. The cheap ones will not work some times. Also the music format has to be cda if it is a stock cd player.

can only play CD-R, not CD-RW. Cause they can't read the finalize track. So, the CD player will think your disc is not closed and won't play.
