Some people really need to throw junk away instead of selling it

Take this ad for example from Kijiji

2 gb hard drive
Price: $5.00
seagate 5400 rpm works perfectly

Is it seriously worth meeting up with someone to make a lousy stinkin $5

LOL @ 2gig drive!!!!

Whats even funnier is that when that came out, it probably cost more than a 1Tb drive does now

I've always wondered about that. Their volume can't possibly make up for the small profit margin.

It's funny I recently fixed two laptops for a friend that had like 20 or 40 GB HDDs with some old school connection that needed to be replaced. I payed like $40 for each one of them on ebay, they were not even new since they stopped making them. For that kind of money you could get a modern 500GB HDD.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. I sell my "junk" all of the time, and I'd rather make $5 than zero!! Ten dollars here.......five dollars there.....it all adds up.
