What makes an M3 sound like an M3 ?...

Hey !

I was wondering, we have a dozen exhausts for our 330´s, but none, even with headers, comes close to M3 exhauts in loudness and sound quality. Why is that ? what engine or exhaust part makes the M3 sound that good ?

The main differences are higher compression and increased displacement

Increased displacement, different exhaust, higher compression ratio, idividual throttle bodies, different timing and programming, higher redline, different exhaust piping and diameter...

The list goes on and on, probably different valves, and whatnot...
