My Lighting Upgrades from DDM

Just wanted to share my experience with my lighting upgrades that I purchased from DDM. I got the 6000K D2S bulbs for the headlights, the 6000K 35w slim ballast HID's for the fog lights and the 6500K MyCarr 60+ LED Angel Eyes. Install was very straight forward on all of them (though the angel eyes are a bit time consuming and tedious). The angel eyes are wired to the ECU to be on all the time and also to the footwell lighting for the remote feature (which works well and is pretty cool!!). This was all done for under $200 and I highly recommend DDM for the products and service!!

Anyway, here are a couple pics of the finished product!

(Fogs look yellow in this pic for some reason, but they match perfect in real life!)

(Angels in direct sunlight)

(All lights in direct sunlight (HID's not quite warmed up yet))

Regards,
Evan :thumbsup2:

I love your whole lighting setup. Was there much difference as far as output on your headlights? (6000K D2S vs your stock 4300 D2S setup)

The 6000K seems much brighter to me, but apparently its all in my head as its been proven to lose light output... Well its brighter to me so I am happy

it's cause you're confusing (you're not alone) brighter with how other things reflect vs. how much light is actually on the ground

I'm trying to figure out which kit I need to do the fog's? Do I just need this slim ballast kit to do plug and play?

http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/DD...it-101-85.html

or do I need any other accessories. Good job on the matching.

You can use either the regular ballast kit or slim. The slim ones are easier to hide. Keep one thing in mind, make sure you get the 35w kit. The 55w kit will melt your foglights.

Please update this thread with a picture after the install. It will help out other members who are looking to do the same upgrade
