how would you hook this up?
Got a new TV and I'm trying to figure out what the best way to hook everything up.
Samsung 50" Plasma - 2 HDMI inputs HD Cable box - hdmi out XBOX - hdmi out Receiver/DVD player - HDMI out (no hdmi ins, only component ins) Computer (Currents on vga but I would like HDMI) So how should I do this? Ideally everything would go into my receiver via HDMI and 1 out to my TV and that would act as the source selector but unfortunately it doesn't have the ins

The easiest way to do this would be to replace the receiver with a 3 HDMI input 1080p switching receiver. This is kind of a mess without that. It is going to be much easier for you to run component and digital audio to the receiver and from there to the tv. I can explain how to do it with HDMI but it is just a mess and the control is going to be terrible. Cable Box to Receiver: Component Video / Digital Audio XBOX to Receiver: Component Video / Digital Audio Computer to Display: Direct Computer to Receiver: Mini to Stereo adapter Audio Receiver to Display: Component Video
