What would you do if you spent $1000 and you got...

Just wonder how you would feel if you spent nearly $1000 and some of the pieces you got looked like this? Mind you, they work fine. I was just a little perturbed by the condition and when I notified the vendor, what I got was attitude from them.

You see in the pic the P46, driver's side. The left/right adjustment knob is broken. I looked for the broken off piece inside the bubble wrap but couldn't find it. Did it break in transit?

The four xenon ballasts I got, all of them had dents and dings in them. I was afraid that they wouldn't work but they all did. Kind of strange when you expect new products and you receive them in this condition. The seller said that's how they get them from their supplier. No apologies, just that's how it is.

Disappointed about this and the responses from the seller but after getting them in and seeing the fullness of the xenons and the look of the angels eyes, I'm over it.

you spent 1K on this? what are the last two pics?

Balls man, you got hosed. Those are ballasts, I believe.

Why did you spend $1000 on P46s?

got the whole lighting upgrade: p46s w/ orion v2, xenon fogs, corners w/ titanium bulbs, sidemarkers, rear LEDs. after spending $1k with this vendor, i get attitude instead of customer service. i guess they must have a lot of business to treat customers like they just bought a bulb from them.

yes, the last 2 pics are of the xenon ballasts, 2 for the P46s and 2 for the fogs.

Did you purchase these from one of the sponsor vendors of the site or some other vendor? Almost every sponsor on here will exchange them if they were DOA.

The ballasts and the p46 worked so they weren't DOA. I just didn't like their responses to my inquiries. They took an attitude like "that's how it is so live with it." That's my interpretation of the email exchange I had with them. I think it took at least 3 exchanges before I heard anything about returning them. It must've been just my bad experience.

P46 + a set of hid would cost... around $400ish.. or less... you got ripped

If I spent 1 grand on this, received it in that condition, then received an attitude when questioning the condition, I would pe F"ING pissed, For 1 grand, the company should be treating you with kid gloves. Maybe they haven't noticed but the economy is in the shitter, so for that kind of purchase, you should be treated properly. Just my thoughts.

My new employee Tim has been handling some CSR duties. His responses were - shall we say - a little uninformed.

I have since gotten involved with this situation and have offered to replace, redo, resend any items that the customer wants. Tim is still learning some of the parts and some CSR duties but he'll get there and of course, if Michael has any issues with Tim's responses from info@umnitza.com - he can also call directly and ask to speak to me OR email me directly - mattg@umnitza.com.

We regret any "bad feelings" that the condition of the parts may have caused and look forward to resolving the issues.

because a lot of noobs don't search the background of the company and just go ahead and purchase things from them because they feel the price is reasonable

No, I bought the P46 with Orion V2 Angel Eyes, Xenon Fogs, Clear Corners with Titanium bulbs, Clear Side Markers, Clear Front Reflectors, Eagle Eyes Clear LED Tail lights. All came out to $950. The 4 ballasts were for the P46 and the fogs. The drivers side P46 had the broken piece.

I would agree that I'm a noob, but I did research. It looked to me like Umnitza, JleviSW, and DDM were the leaders with these P46s and angels eyes and lighting in general. I didn't go with the sponsor of this forum mainly because the Orions V2 were made by Umnitza. And everyone seemed to rave about Umnitza. Well, I was keeping the name out of this but since it's out in the open, Matt from Umnitza stepped up and is taking care of me.

i paid 800 somethin for p46 with chromiums and smoked side markes then i got my tail lights for like 125 and side markers and reflectors all in all i spent right around 1000
