bow_3 only is required if you use the 35w in your headlights, you don't need them in your fog lights.

When putting these in your fog lights, I sugggest putting in the accessory harness. I personally have experienced that when the fogs go to HID, you get a zap in your system where the start up is just too much juice, so to get rid of that issue a harness needs to be put on. I had them on my prefacelift fogs before without any issues in regards to heat.
