My Ride: A car.
The only movie that I can recall that makes me almost automatically tear up is when samwise gamgee finally gets to play in the football game in RUDY.

I cried before the movie even started the last time I went to a theater...but that's because I sat on my testes.

In theaters? Never. Then again, the only movies I go to see in theaters are action/adventure/horror based for the most part.

But this gets me every time I play through it:

The 4th one does too.

When it comes down to it, a story is just that. Some people consider it a weakness to tear up, but in reality, it means you've connected with the characters on an emotional level. Although they may be fictional characters, it's hard not to be connected when you've been following their story from the start. And when tragedy strikes, you can't help but immediately try to feel the position they may be in.

It really is amazing. The stories that attract you on an emotional level, are always the best kinds of stories, whether it'd be a movie, video game, anime, etc.

Korean movies seem to do a fantastic job with catching you off guard. If you haven't seen it, watch "The Man From Nowhere" on Netflix. It came out a couple of years ago, and it's one of my favorite movies.

As for all of these comments on the Notebook...wtf, lol. I didn't expect that from anyone on here. But I just might have to watch it and see for myself.

Excellent move... probably the best Korean movie that I've ever seen.

These damn movies are made to make people cry. I could see right through it, they try from multiple angles to target different audiences and try to get their sweet spot.

So true, that was a difficult one to watch...had to put a dog down and was reminded of it multiple times through that film.

Man on Fire at the end never fails to choke me up a bit.
