Eibach Sportline System Installed

I just recently installed new springs and stuts/shocks and thought I would share some pics. I purchased the Eibach pro system with sportline springs. It will lower a sport suspension about 1.2" and a non-sport 1.8".

I chose Eibach over H&R because I really do not like the raked look. I really like the ride. The suspension feels a bit softer than OEM but when you need it (hard cornering, etc..) if feels much, much stiffer.

Comments welcome

This sounds and looks like the springs I need. perfect stance in my opinion. I actually like it better than my old vogtland kit.

i agree, it has a nice drop but its comparable to H&R sport cup kit in terms of drop, not sure with the ride stiffness...

Actually, I got them off eBay when eBay and live.com had the 30% cash back. I contacted the seller before hand to ask questions, to make sure they were new, etc.. plus his feedback was great. He had them dropped shipped directly from Eibach, could not complain about that. I am sure you can find them for cheaper on the internet (possible a sponsor) but since there was 30% (max $200) cash back, I was willing to pay a his higher price.

Good luck!

I had H&R race springs on my last E46 and that doesn't look any less raked than mine did...

To be honest, the front of your car in the pics looks a little too high for race springs. (It almost looks like the rear is lower than the front) It is possible that the strut was not seated completely into the steering knuckle. This happened to me, the installer did not slide it ALL the way in. Once he did, it lowered it another inch. (Of course my pics above are after the struts were seated completely).

The pic of the car in this post has H&R race springs too and the front tire looks almost tucked. (and of course you can see the rake).
