Recommended BMW shop - MKE?

Hi All,

Just moved to the Milwaukee area and need my rear brakes changed. Can anyone recommend a BMW shop? Dealer or independent, doesn't matter..thanks in advance!

Dealers - Concours or International Autos

Independent - Alpine Import Specialists or European Auto House.

Personally I've been to Concours and Alpine, but I've heard good things about the others.

Thanks EMJAY, I'll give them a call Monday. For some reason, I could only find Concours when I did my initial search.

Really? I thought Alpine closed due to the owner passing away.

Anyway, O'Reilly is a great shop and downtown.

Alpine was still open as of August 2008. The owner's son was running it.

Doesn't O'Reilly hold the "spring cleaning" event? I thought I saw something in IMMER about it.

I just called Alpine and their phone is disconnected and website is dead as well. Are they out of bisiness? To the best of my knowledge, that's two out of two independent shops that closed very recently (Little Car Shop closed earlier last year).

Are there any other BMW indy shops in the area? Does anyone know a good BMW mechanic in Milwaukee?

Just got the latest issue of Immer and saw a few ads for local independent shops:

Little Car Shop is now Urban Motorworx

Alpine is now Kummrow Automotive
