My pics from 4ngiefest 2014

Little selection of what showed up. This was my first year and definitely not my last. 2700 miles of driving over 3 days for myself. Even ended up getting rear ended by an A4 on 26 in North Carolina outside of Asheville yesterday on the drive back North.

Only other Dub there was this Mk5 on Brotiforms.

Thanks for having us over too Fergo!

Trip back was ok, aside from getting run in to from behind by an Audi A4 on 26 outside of Asheville, NC yesterday.

So you got rear ended with a more expensive version of your own car?

Anyway, looks like fun. I've never gone myself but I'd love to one year. Also, is it just me or do the stock or stock look cars look the best? To many low ride stance wanna be cars...

Yea, 'tis the struggle of VAG cars .

The Dogbone mount in the front attached to the subframe became loose on the way down in traffic in Kentucky. Got that fixed Saturday morning at Kennesaw VW. Would vibrate under the car in first gear at low RPM's. Thought it was the trans going first or something.

The other incident, not of my own doing heh. Was like 10 miles out of Asheville, NC. Some guy a few cars in front of me hit his brakes, i laid on mine in the ensuing chain reaction and drifted to the left shoulder to avoid a front end collision. As i did, guy in an Audi A4 hit me on the passenger side rear at easily 40 i wanna say. Got the guys insurance info and what not. Going to need a new rear bumper as mine is not permanently branded with the "four rings of death" aka Audi logo. Looks closely at the attachment and you can make it out. Hoping i can get an TDI Cup Edition rear bumper out of this or something.

Dude's Audi was bad tho. He'll need a new grille, front bumper, trunk lid, rear bumper and radiator. He got hit from behind after hitting me by an older Mitsubishi pick up.

Yea, my bad. Was probably passed out on those lounge chairs when that went down.

Loved your E30 BTW. Great meeting ya. Next time keep the gatorade away from my car

"stance" isn't my thing either. Stretched tires, ridiculous cameber, etc. There's functional camber and stupid camber. But if a person has done their car such that it's "clean", then i don't have a problem with it.

Nice pics. I might go next year. Gotta show all the SnapBack tank-top wearing stanced E46 owners what a proper E46 looks like.

Of the pictures you posted, I picked out 7-8 cars that are "clean". Of those 7-8, one is the Ferrari and one is the NSX.

The rest look like kluged together piles of sh1t with poorly installed lips, ridiculous wheels, excessive drop, stretched tires, idiotic red angel eyes, any angel eyes that aren't factory, fake hood vents, terrible paint, and/or a VW badge.

Out of curiosity, whats your definition of "clean"?
