i was reading an AMA from a psychiatrist last night that was talking about seasonal depression. I never knew it was actually real even though my moods were always worse when it was dark for so long.

I want some snow, some dark, and some cold. None of this sunshine bs. I feel cheated.

My friend in Sweden told me they have special places where people can sit under lights that mimic the sun and help vitamin D deficiencies to stave off depression. I seriously couldn't handle it being dark and cold like that. I'm in a MUCH better mood when the sun is out and the air is warm.

I'll be in Sweden until July it's usually dark, cloudy, and cold. I've seen these around. I actually think I saw some earlier in H&M...marketing trick?

Only thing i know of that matches what you say is :

Only a small percentage of Vit.D is absorbed through the skin , i'd say we're even getting more vit.d than you as we eat shiploads of fish up here and we're the worlds #6 consumer of milk.

Personally im more of a night person so i like it when it gets dark, we still get 8hours of sunlight during winter though

The cold i could do without, good for car engines though ^^

yea it's weird man. Makes a lot of sense though. I thought it was the cold I hated but it's actually the lack of sun light.
