I remember seeing this a long time ago but without the audio. Is that really what was said or was it dubbed in?

On the final lap, while contending for the victory, Papis' truck bumped into Mike Skeen's truck, causing the two to spin out. Following the race, Kelly Heaphy, the girlfriend of Mike Skeen, who was clearly unhappy with Papis' actions on the final lap, confronted Papis to give him a piece of her mind.

There are two incidents in the final corner. Papis and Skeed are the 2nd pair of trucks that get together.

The footage isn't great, because seems like it was only captured by the flag stand camera and the roof cam on Papis' truck.

Seems to me like Skeed dove inside on the last corner, couldn't hold his line and slid out into the front fender of Papis' truck, taking them both off in the grass. If that's correct and that's all that happened (don't know about incidents earlier in the race ), then Skeed f-ed up and doesn't have room to .

Regardless, his gf should be banned from NASCAR events for a year.

1st off, it's Skeen

2nd, he said on his FB

"Finally back to the States with a charged phone. Great race overall for us, but a rough end. I'm not sure what the TV showed, but the 14 got into my bumper numerous times to pass me with a couple laps to go. I never gave him a cheap shot in the rear. I made an aggressive move in the final corner to get position and I don't think he saw it coming...hit me in LR corner and put us in the tires. If it was such a rookie move and I completely missed the corner, he should've let me wreck myself and he could've finished just fine (not what would have happened). Instead he tried to turn in even though I had a nose ahead. The drama after the race was started by him. He tried numerous times on the cool down lap to wreck me again or drive me into other parked trucks. When we finally got behind the wall, I got out and talked to him face to face, but there was no reasoning with him. I didn't know about the slap, but that was relatively tame considering he barged our trailer later and tried to pull her down the stairs in front of a NASCAR official and several members of our team. She has bruises to prove it. Those are the facts from my perspective."

so if it is true, SKeen got the red mist and did in fact divebomb Papis after being raced dirty toward the end....... I think the blame for the divebomb falls squarely on Mike, true but Max is not innocent at all...especially if Max tried to repeatedly wreck him on the ****ing cooldown lap!!

Knowing Mike, he's not a dirty racer at all and rarely does he ever get the red mist so this must have been a very extreme set of circumstances to get him to confront Max himself, on top of his GF getting involved separately

So now NASCAR employs drama to make up for such boring racing?

I work for a truck in the truck series....from my point of view on pit road and the garage it was extremely boring! couldn't see a thing and our truck broke!

Watching highlights of the race made me wish I would have been sitting on the couch watching it though.

I know guys that work on that 14 truck though, hate it for them. That truck wasn't in bad shape until then and now it is junk between that and what happened in the garage after the race.
