Ok but seriously I've only been reading about 03 and newer cars having this fix the problem so will it still work for my 99?

if i'm not mistaken, the 99s use the GM 4L30-E. Don't think this applies to that. Yours is most likely a mechanical issue or fluid/filter related. My 99 528i did this from time to time.

This morning was the worst that it ever jerked. I had just entered an on ramp and when i went to accelerate I hit the kick down and the car delayed a little then jerked enough to give me whiplash, then took off it was terrible the whole car just bucked really hard on the kick down..... now what?
