MS42 convert to MS43

328CI ->330CI
I want to put the MS43 into my car with Egas etc.
Hardware is no problem but what about the EWS in the Orig ECU.
Could someone replace the MS43 with my orig one ?

Not sure if i totally understand what you are asking,
but you will need a new ECU and subsequently a new EWS that will be able to be paired with the new ECU that is for the MS43.
You may be able to run a used MS43 ECU and MATCHING EWS, and then recode all the modules on the car to reflect the new index coding

bmw chuzo on the forums put a 330 motor in his 325 and went through the whole deal with electronics, you may want to search for his thread and hit him up for some tips

Could i put it in and make a EWS sync or something like this ?

not with a used EWS, EWS will be married to whatever ECU it was used on first, someone correct me if i am wrong.

if you buy a new EWS you should be able to sync it with the used Dme

hey there,
this conversion is more difficulty than it appears. You basically need an used dme from a donor car with its matching ews and keys. If not you'll need very expensive tools in order to read and code the "rolling codes" from the DME to your original EWS. Apart from all this trouble comes the wiring issues. You will need to make some new wiring and modify your old one (for drive by wire gas pedal, alternator and oil signals and other bunch of stuff.)

I suggest you get a copy of the WDS (bmw wiring diagrams) and check yourself some of these differences. You'll also need some hardware like the 330 manifold, throttle body, engine harness, lol I did this swap cause' i'm crazy
