Just installed UUC clutch/ssk

I understand the clutch/flywheel spins super fast...but uh...if I'm not pressing the clutch in, I hear it...and its loud. Is that normal? I still have to break it in, will the sound go away after that period? Or did my mechanic fux up?

Otherwise, I love the ssk, and aside from the noise, I'm loving the clutch/flywheel

Not a joke. Brady is referring to the mix of Red Line fluids that UUC recommends to help quell the gear rattle you're hearing.

You might want to discuss this with your mechanic.

+1 not until you use the special blend the noise will be loud...if not scary

even after the mix of redline fluids you can stil hear the little chatter but of course not as embarassing when ppl think your tranny is falling apart

Ding!

If I were being sarcastic, it would have been blatant

Hope that helps.

Also, the UUC says that there might be some chattering after installation which will lessen over time.
