you need to put a resistor across one of the footwells. check the 3rd page, mitchsf linked the resistor that you will need

2 Annoying Tidbits:

I purchased the kit from F1. I'm a 2001 325xi ( pre-face )

1. My vanity lights worked at first now even if i flip the bulbs over and over they do NOT work. Is there a fuse or somethign i may of blown?

2. I cant have a LED bulb as my center map light or else nothing works. Workaround?

Been at this for 2 hours..im annoyed as hell, lol

lol, try taking out another bulb somewhere else like the footwell and make that an incandescent. if that helps, then you need to add a resistor like the one posted by mitchsf on page 3 i think

Ok. So i have to rather 1 get a resistor for the passenger side or 2 just buy a blue xenon bulb...option #2 lookin real good..lmao..

But my vanity lights still wont work? Are these attached to a fuse or something that i may of blown? I turn that bulb around soo many times im gettin a headache, lol

The ones for the mirrors? Yes there is a separate fuse for those. I don't remember off the top of my head though

Yea for the Vanity lights when you flip down the sun visor and move the mirror back. I'll see if i can find the Fuse location by searching.

nope no errors. the interior lights already have their own fuses. resistors are needed on only some cars (special cases really)

Nice write-up. One question though. The light seems a bit too bright for my taste, or are the pictures at fault here? Either way, it looks great and I'm sure I'll do this sooner or later.
