yeah man you're right. I'm kind of in denial lol. i didn't notice it much watching through the years but I've been watching all the episodes before bed and see them one after another so it's a lot more noticeable.

The early ones just appeared to have much more effort put into them, plus there was a story, a thread tying episode to episode and season to season, whether it was Jim and Pam, downsizing, Michael and Holly, Jan, etc. This whole Kathy Bates takeover thing went to nowhere and the writing just isn't as sharp. They need a big shake up, either this is it, or the show is toast.

remember the episode in season 6 when the "investment banker" came to evaluate the company and all they did was show "highlights" from the show? Were they on the verge if canceling the show? I didn't see the point of that episode.

In the television universe, that episode would be characterized as a "clip show."

I get it but why? It was like a greatest moments show.

Also heard this recently,

http://www.pastemagazine.com/article...r-mifflin.html

either one could be amazing. I'm hoping for Murray from flight of the conchords

Michael: We are not always going to be there, to coddle your heart back, when it disappears to be working. What are you going to do if you're by yourself and your heart stops?
Stanley: I would die.
Michael: And you're okay with that?
Stanley: I'm okay with the logic of it.

I'll miss it cause I'll be on a flight back to awesomeville

Do you think the show will go downhill afterwards? It's gonna be hard to find another actor who can play Michael as well as Steve Carrell does.

it definitely won't be the same... but c'mon... look at the actors in there

jim and pam are still great, however not as good as when they were in the flirting stage
andy... awesome
dwight... what if he becomes the new manager? LOL
creed is amazing
oscar came a long way... he's funny as balls now (pun intended ghey)

I'll watch it as long as it stays on... personally i think Michael Scott isn't as good as the first 3 seasons... the episodes themselves i think are great and definitely less dry.. but his mindset and "corporate america" thought process(not to mention the racial/sexist views) was spot on in the earlier seasons... his character now is a lot more relaxed and energetic... which IMO is an even trade off but won't be missed as much

meh... it's decent. the opening was obnoxious, but the ending was pretty funny.

Didn't quite get the beginning. Was that a parody of something?

Beginning was irritating...my wife and I kept looking at each other like "wtf is going on and when is this going to stop?"

Rest was ok.
