HPF Stage 2.5 Race + Methanol 60 - 130

5.85

I finally had time to pour some race fuel in my car this weekend and log some vbox runs with the new tune HPF recently added to their Stage 2.5 cars. I'm running 285/19 Toyo T1R's and I wasn't sure if I would be able to best my pump + methanol time of 6.43 due to traction issues. Starting in 3rd I have to ease into the throttle to keep the car from going sideways, I don't think the tires fully hooked until about 90 mph.

You killed your old time. Would you happen to have video??

And, this is only stg 2.5 imagine what a stg.3 or 4 could due with traction.

Get some nice drag radials and see what she does with lots of good traction.

I knew it would be faster, but that's a significant improvement. Forget about cars... 5.85 is faster than the 2006 Yamaha R1 which does it in 5.9 sec. And on street tires w/19" wheels!!!!

Congrats.

I have RAC RG4's. They're hard to come by, but Wheel Experts now has something very comparable, weighs under 20 lbs, special offsets, etc..

Congrats again Scott. I'll try and give you a call tomorrow. Also, what wheels does Wheel Experts carry that you are talking about? I am looking for a set of 18x10 rears to run a "big" drag radial on.

Some of the newer wheels that are made for BMW's are not up on their website yet, I would suggest calling Peter at www.wheelexperts.com and I'm sure he can find something that will work for you.

Also give David a call on Monday for comparison sake (503) 256-5600 X103. We can get you any wheel that exists and David will definitely hook you guys up on the pricing. David also knows all of the offsets, and the best tires to run, etc. etc.

Chris.
