LED licence plate led flashing

Hi,

I have searched but havnt found a guide or instructions to fix this. I have installed led lights for my licence plates but they constantly fade brighter and lower. I think i need resistor or some sort? Which resistor do i need and how do i wire it up?

Thanks

What type of LEDs do you have? Are they standard LEDs arranged on a Festoon bulb or high output? You shouldn't need resistors if they are the proper bulb.

Already did. One bulb has a faulty contact on it.

I put some standard output LEDs in my license plate lights and they flickered and gave a bulb out warning, so I'm gonna need a load resistor me thinks. 01s just don't like LEDs

Just got these LEDs off of ebay and they flicker slightly and cause bulb out warnings.

Would Jlevi bulbs cure this?? or would resistors be an easier fix?

Ours will not flash or cause bulb out errors on the E46.
