Help: My LCD tv has a black line running across the screen

Its a Samsung 32" LCD TV. I connected it up about a month ago. Its was working perfectly fine until yesterday, theres a friggin black line running vertically across the screen about an inch in thickness. Friggin pissing me off. Anyone know if there is any easy way of sorting it out?

You might have to replace your LCD according to some complaints I Googled.
Is yours still under warranty?

Is it on all inputs? Have you tried using different cables? (i.e. different HDMI cable or using component)

Yes it is, only a month old. I was hoping it could be resolved without having to return it as it is too much of a schlep to return it.

yeah, I have tried using HDMI, VGA and even on the normal tv tuner mode, the line still runs across

your gonna have to wait and have the tv people come in your home, open your tv, and replace the main board.

I had the same type of lines that came down on my brand new 52 lcd aquos..

unless you take your tv to the place of purchase and they give you an exchange...for factory warranty..you might have to wait like i did..few weeks for them to ship new board and bring it to my house to replace..
