resistor/capacitor mod help.
i have an 01 coupe and im putting in hid's. I dont need a reflash to make them work cuz its an 01, it wont flicker. i want the bulb out warning to go away, i cant find any info on the resistor mod and the capacitor mod seems to be for the flickering. anyone know what kind of resistor to use? any additional info would be helpfull.

the cap mod is for both flickering and making the warnings go away.

I'm still confused about this whole HID set up If you flash your High Beam Does the HID turn off ? ( is this fixed by the capacitor mod) ?

Quote:
the cap mod is to get rid of the warning when you put in an HID kit.

I just did the capacitor mod and it worked great on my drivers side, but the warning only stayed off for a day on my passenger side, would this suggest that I have a fault capacitor or connection on the passenger side?

could be. I would think they should work uniformally and no error on either side at the same time. I would check the connections on that side for sure.

I just took my capacitors off and the connections looked fine. I was getting 3 quick flashes on start up on my drivers side lamp so I don't wanna risk killin my xenons. I'll check out what the sponsors have to offer.
