Capacitor Questions

Hey anyone know which is a better capacitor. A 10 Farad Stinger capacitor or a Tsunami 20 Farad Capacitor. I have a Headlight dimming problem when I put the bass up. I have a JL12w7 connected to an Alpine PDX1000 amp which feeds of a line from the stock amp and a 2 Farad Tsunami Capacitor connected to the Alpine amp. I cant listen to the music to loud cause I think Im going to blow the altenator. I did it to my E36 and Im not trying to get stuck with my E46. lol. I know some brands are better then others and some brands say they are a certain farad and they aren't.

I heard of the Big 3 but what is that exactly.

Upgrade your alternator, dont put a band-aid on a problem. Bad things will happen over time. Capacitors are useless.....

An altenator cost me $400 on my E36. I dont have that type of money right now. Two guys offered me these caps to trade for these spare subs I have. Thats why I was asking which would be my best choice.
