I got bit by the gun bug!
It started last December when I sold all my textbooks and decided to buy my first pistol. I ended up getting a S&W 22A. I chose it because I can shoot it all day for less than $10. Then, I went to the range last weekend to shoot and started looking at new guns. I knew I didn't have the money really to buy a new gun, but I ended up getting a Sig P6 9mm. Now, I am looking again for either a Glock 17 or 22 (leaning toward the 22).
Why are guns so addicting? On top of that, I have a 20g single shot, 12g over-under, a 12g rem 870, a marlin .22lr, and a Yugo SKS. I can't wait until I can actually afford better guns, but until then, I'll buy what I can. I'll try to take some pictures later maybe.

check the Glock 23 .40, great shooting gun out of the box, hi cap and plenty of accessories for it. put roughly 1500 rounds through mine in the past month and no jams, no problems and still shooting tight groups

Some experts prefer the Glock 17 over the Glock 22.
I was going to buy some 22s and 23s to switch back from .45 but after all my research, I ended up back with 17/19/26s. The .40 were modified from the 9mm. In other words, the Glock 17 is and has been the standard for so long because it was designed from the ground up. I have yet to have any issues with any of my glocks regardless of model, but I just think the 19 is unbeatable. My 10 year old 19 fires like it was brand new. The glock 9mms also have the high capacity magazine advantage also. 10,15,17,19,31,33 round option FACTORY. PS - Check ammo pricing also.

I think I will probably go with the Glock 17 because of the bigger size and plus 9mm is usually a few bucks cheaper per box than .40s&w. The cheapest I found one was a used one that was about 90%-100% for $399 and a new one for $525. I'm going to a gun show this weekend so we'll see what happens

And yes, you are right about them being addicting.
