mauro´s E36 M3 3.2L Biturbo /// Vanos Off
Hello, before I come to the point just a little preface.
I am 17 years old and I will be 18 in April. I was born in Germany and I`m actually living in Hessen. My English is certainly not the best, but I hope you understand it. I often went with my Dad to the carriage garage and I learnt very early to tinker on cars with him. With 15 years I got my 1st car, a E36 M3 3.2L. Unfortunately, the car was fudged from front to behind, so it was not a real M3. I noticed this when we started to disassemble the car. We managed it to settle it all legally. Not more than 2 Months later from that incident with the old M3, a new one joint into the family. Unfortunately, this car didn't last for more than 7000km with a bearing damage. The previous owner manipulated the Counter and so on. Then this all was too much for me, so my Dad and I had the idea to use the flavor and install a new engine, new gearbox, a new rear axle box and to restore the axles themselves, and finally to refresh the structure under the car. Within 2 Months we re-assembled it all together, and there he was like new, installed a Work Rezak 2RFF with an KWV1 Chassis, new Bastuck exhaust and so on... A year later we disassembled the trunk, built in a Xbox360, Dvb-t and more. 17000 km later I had the idea to disassemble it in its carcass and to rebuild it from scratch up so that it would last for very long, then an Airbox should follow... But this dream was never realized, as I took the carpets off, disassembled the bumpers, the axes, we shake our heads. The chassis was a scrap. I didn't believe my eyes, it was all too much for me and I lost my motivation to continue with my project. Still, my father tinkered from time to time on the car, I didn't realize why... and he wouldn't want to tell me why he did it. But 6 weeks later, I realized why, and for me all started from the scratch. I was plenty of motivation. My Dad bought a new Chassis from BMW, he bought new axes and a ton of other stuff. Here is some data of my baby: Manufacturer: BMW Model: E36 M3 3.2l First registration: xxx Motor: S50B32 Biturbo Capacity: 32xxccm Performance: xxx Maximum speed: xxx Curb weight: xxx Leather: Leather Porsche Napal Alcantara: Alcantara Bmw Color: Alpine White 3 / Code 300 & Matt Black It's time came from the German forums here and leave her to come to you. in the German forums, you just finished .. I hate that! Now it is time to let images speak, I think I've written enough If anyone still has questions, or similar, I am quite happy to dispose. The Body ![]() Bodyedeting Indoor edit Reinforcement of the rear axle Conversion of the side walls Last edited by bmw_mauro; 02-04-2009 at 04:15 PM. |

Damn. Overall very nice.
The leather work with the alcantara is top notch, not OEM like, but very very good. The dash is ok, I don't like that you hacked it up, and the reform doesn't flow... neither does the leather stitching, someone was drunk when they did that part. The quality of reconstruction is great! New seals, new moldings, gaps painted, all of that is A+++ Not feeling the fender work, you ruined the lines of the E36 by doing that. The front door cards are ruined as well. That engine is beautiful and will surely boast some serious power. Subscribed to the thread.
