Sorry for not getting back to you, but it looks as though the picture portion is covered. I was gone all weekend.
The only problem I'm having now is that they won't stay on. When I turn on the interior lights on they pop on, but once I start the car they go out.

It's not really orange.....4300k is a white/yellow/orange combination

There is amber that you can buy though......

Those types of LEDs cost more, so that is why it is more expensive

LED's = too bright in my opinion bro.
It kinda kills it. Just stick with your ccfls.
Theres no metal piece, but theres a small gap at the top of each ring where theres no light.

So if you really want to be picky, you can point out different things with LED's. CCFL's are way beyond suffice in brightness, and look more oem. Thats why i chose these. I could have gone with LED's for like $20 more but it wasnt worth it from the stuff I heard about them. Most just recomended i go with ccfl. Now if I had a PREfacelift, I would definitely go LED, because the CCFL's kind of look more dim on those e46 then facelift. Dont really know why but thats just how I have seen it.
