Anyone tried USB to Optical Audio Out?

True 5.1 Dolby Digital from my PC to home theatre? Thinking about getting this, but it sounds too good to be true...

Last one like that I used only had digital 2 channel output - not 5.1 but it did work very well. That one does 5.1 I take it?

Supposedly according to the product description. Its an optical into the receiver, so if its anything like the optical from my Motorola cable box, it should sound mint...
