My stock Xenons are DIM...proof!

I had the suspicion that my factory Xenons were dim ever since I bought the car 2 weeks ago. I am fairly sure the headlight bulbs were never changed. There's no knowing how many times the lights have turned on/off with the automatic headlights, decreasing light output.

My wife's civic with 6-month old 5000k ebay HIDs, that I installed, is much brighter!
The 2 pictures below are for comparison.

I will be ordering new phillips 85122+ bulbs and update on the results.

Consider first your aiming, how cloudy the lenses are, and whether you have aftermarket or OE xenon bulbs in there.

We'll be posting the new Philips D2S bulbs on our site (D2S) in a few hours (or days if David doesn't get his inventory done).

Aren't the factory Xenon's auto-leveling? As far as I know, everything is stock.

They do auto-level, but they have a "center" that can and usually does need to be adjusted.
