Ok guys please help out...

Well my dad bought me a cobra radar ok its not the best but it was free so wtf.The big problem is he tried to hook it up hardwired when I wasnt home and he said it didn't work out that way as theres 2 cords with tape around them. After he hooked them to the vanity mirror and blew the fuse lol if you guys could please help me on where we could hook this up hardwire with some pics thanks I searched but it was for the valentine or some radar like that.Thanks

Most guys go for the moon roof power switch. Sorry, no pics.

Not that I'm firmly against radars, but I won't buy one for my kids.
Anyway, the traffic police is using more and more lasers, and there is not much you can do to get a warning before it's too late.
Best policy on the road - don't speed, or at least have someone going at the same speed in front of you.

But in case you are on your dad's insurance...

Well honestly no I go to school and work full time and pay my own insurance he just got me one because I was talking about getting one and I'm 19 btw lol

Cool.
Don't rely too heavily on the radar and keep your driving record clean.
I just got a good driver insurance rate - no tickets for three years and no at fault accidents. They were bleeding me dry before that.
