Fog light always on
Hey everyone, just want to get some input on this. Is there any way to get the foglights to always turn on when the lights are switched on?? Its a 2006 330ci. Thanks

i guess you could run the power from your headlights into them, but i think its just pointless.
I dont like the foglight indicator on my dash either.

I drive with my foglights on with the headlights all the time. I didn't put in a HID foglight kit for no reason. I think it looks awesome. About the button, it has become habit for me, no reason to screw with the wiring when its so easy to just hit the button.

In most (if not all) states it is illegal to have more then 4 front-facing lights on at the same time, hence why the fogs turn off when the brights go on. Not sure why you would want to change this, having your fog lights on with your brights will actually reduce your long distance sight. If you were just refering to having them come on automatically when you turn the lights on, yes you could rewire them but that would be the ultimate definition of lazy since all you have to do is move your finger down an inch and push, you've already done the hard work by moving your hand over to the lcm.

^People wire their fogs to stay on with their highbeams to avoid damaging their HIDs. If they have HID fogs.

^Just because people do it doesn't make it legal. If a cop is bored enough or needs to meet his quota this is just another reason for a ticket. I say this because it's happened to people I know, lol. Just stating a point.
That being said do whatever you want to do, practically anything can be wired to anything and modifed to work. You would need to find a constant power source and wire the fogs to it, not sure if you have the OEM bi-xenons but if you don't then just wire the fogs to your low beams and they will stay on as long as you have your lights turned on.
