Your car wasn't in Car and Driver was it?

The "best car under $25k" edition? That pic and location seems awfully familiar . . .

Are there separate kits for M3, non-M, etc. or is it just one kit for all E46? Is there a part number printed on kit you received? I vaguely remember seeing multiple options on the Turner website which is why I'm asking.

Thanks,
Navin

THe part number that came with the kit received was TDR4675412

All e46 M3's and non M3's use the same kit.

Bumps
still for sale

NOOB here......excuse my ignorance and I am asking before I research the benefits of this product. Please tell me why I would need this. I saved up to order ESS TS2 and have Dinan throttle body Eisseman exhaust, AFE CAI, Dinan software, H&R Sports, Racing Dynamics front Strut Tower. What does this reinforcement subframe do?? Please don't respond the obvious in the name of product.

I am asking because I am interested in purchasing this if I need it with my set up. I have seen most E46ers that are SC have this reinforcement set up.

All E46's subframe mount have the tendancy to crack due to its underdesigned mounts. Any additional load produced from powermods or suspension mods will accelerate the process. Bad road condition in your area is a factor too.

Stock e46's do have cracking in their subframe mount too.

The subframe reinforcement mounts, is metal plates that is welded into the subframe mounts. Increasing its strength of the mounts.

anybody that has put in the subframe reinforcement kit will not have this problems ever again, even with 500 whp or more.

Thanks Butho33......After reading the class action law suit article and seeing that most E46fanatics members will not be eligible for the inspection/repair, vecause most of us have larger wheels and suspension mods I think I will Reinforce my subframe as soon as I purchase the ESS TS2.
