Nice! I am somewhat familiar with the ships inner workings... When I was in the Corps I did a deployment on both the USS Essex and USS Tarawa. On the Tarawa our office was right under the flight deck, yeah, that was a lot of fun

nice. my first ship was the Belleau Wood, which is the same thing as Tarawa.
it was fun standing around in the hangar bay on deployment watching you guys beat each other up for hand to hand training.
and drinking with marines overseas is fun too cuz you guys always pick fights with everyone. and if you can't find anyone, you guys pick fights with each other, lol.

I heard you can send your m3 mirrors to Yellowman and he will do the baseplate for a fee. He apparently has the mold for it to be a perfect fitament.
