I have them on the vert. I like them except the hats rusted....if I were to do it again, I'd paint/coat the hats.

Ok, I ask because I'm pricing through BavAuto for my parts and their rotors are on sale. I don't want cross drilled. I figure I might give them a shot with their Pagid pads.
I'd order the whole package through Tischer but then I'd have to pay for shipping for a bunch of fluid I can buy here.

I would think Pagid's would be a good combo. I was running Axxis Deluxe and I'd only give them about a 6/10.

The transformation is happening

Hmmm...would I eat through brake pads running slotted rotors on a DD over 17 every day?

Yes, slotted rotors are pointless on a dd

Appearance factor counts for something
2 blanks from Bav cost $88. 2 slotted cost $166. Not sure it's worth it.

Extra $80 + going through pads faster :/ I went through the OEM brakes in about a year.

Should the lower radiator hose temp sensor be replaced at the same time as the upper/lower hose, tstat, and water pump? Anything else? Also getting a UUC bleeder screw and the crush washer for the engine block drain plug. Getting a spare ET. Am I missing anything? Is there anything else recommended?

I thought the whole point of slotted rotors was to dissipate gases that modern brake pads don't really produce anymore. And don't the holes reduce braking power?

Besides, tires have a lot to do with braking power. The stock brakes can out-brake your tires if that makes any sense.
